Corporate justice and the environment

This event brings together lawyers, campaigners, climate litigators, academics, and European policy makers to discuss environmental and climate obligations in the recently released proposal for a directive on Corporate Sustainability Due Diligence by the European Commission and beyond.

This discussion is an opportunity to learn about what is next for corporate accountability for environmental impacts. The event will then delve into the rapidly evolving corporate obligation to account for and remedy climate impacts across global value chains, investments, and business relations.

Experts will also touch upon the European Commission’s proposals for a deforestation regulation and a revised Environmental Crime Directive.
