The Current and Future Role of the ICC
This side event will explore the 2016 Office of the Prosecutor’s Policy Paper on Case Selection and Prioritisation to uncover current and future opportunities for the ICC to address the current climate crisis, global heating and incessant environmental issues worldwide, including the potential of introducing a fifth atrocity crime: Ecocide.
