The recognition of ecocide in the European directive on crimes against the environment.

Join a stellar lineup of international environmental law and human rights legal experts who will discuss and assess why ecocide must be recognized in the European  Environmental Crime Directive , and more extensively in the RomeStatute of the International Criminal Court.  

The panel will debate philosophical, legal, economic and policy questions that will highlight the importance of ecocide law in European policies, showing that the recognition of ecocide is an increasingly popular and necessary demand to protect the future of life on Earth.
